NOLO refers to ‘ No or Low Alcohol Beverages’.

Bardowie Gin have always been a progressive distillery with the launch of their gin flavours early this year, their sustainability efforts in both production and packaging and their continuous efforts to create a community in the local area. Bardowie Gin want to create a great experience for all of their customers and they don’t want to leave anyone out. Therefore, they have recently been working on creating a delicious NOLO option. It took a few trial runs to hit the spot but the team now feel confident with their new NOLO beverage. Customers will be able to order this at the Jaw Brew Pub and Brewery in Milngavie and it will soon be available to order online.

The NOLO drinks market is set to grow 34% by 2024 (https://www.thedrinksbusiness.com). Although many suggested people were stockpiling alcoholic drinks at home during lockdown, many surveys have instead suggested people have actually been more focused on their health and the health of their friends and family. Our facilities, including our distillery, pub and brewery and our online space is for people to feel part of a community and share their appreciation for beer and gin. No or low alcohol options are a big part of this community.
